Wawa is a convenience store that specializes in bringing fresh food to consumers, along with their regular drinks and snacks. It was founded in 1964 by Howard Greene and has over 735 stores in six states: Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Breakfast

Whether you live close to a Wawa or happen to be passing through one on the road, know that you can stop by and pick up some delicious plant-based breakfast options. 

  • Vegan-friendly fruit cups -Includes mixed fruit cup, sunshine blend fruit cup. mixed fruit with kiwi, pineapple fruit cup, mango fruit cup, watermelon fruit cup, red grapes fruit cup, mango, pineapple & strawberries, blueberries & strawberries, and blueberries, grapes, & watermelon. 
  • Beyond Meat breakfast sausage patties (not always available – check in-store)

Wawas has vegan milk and creamers available, making grabbing a coffee easy! Wawa’s smoothies should be vegan, however, please confirm with the server that they don’t contain dairy milk or yogurt. As they are made to order, you can get them with a plant-based alternative instead.

  • Roasted Veggie Hoagie – Choose a plain roll instead of whole wheat (which contains honey) and swap the mayo for the avocado spread
  • The Beyond Sausage Hoagie – Order without eggs and no cheese
  • The Beyond Sausage Sizzli – Choose a plain roll and order without eggs and cheese

Build Your Own Hoagie 

  • Choose bread – White bread, wheat bread, rye bread, or plain white sub
  • Choose toppings – Avocado, cucumbers, salsa, “hot peppers,” jalapeño peppers, onions, pickles, roasted red pepper slices, spinach, sweet peppers, sliced tomatoes, roasted veggies, or shredded romaine lettuce 
  • Choose sauces – Sriracha Sauce, mustard (spicy or regular), ketchup, buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, olive oil, oregano, salt & pepper, vinegar

Build Your Own Burrito or Burrito Bowl
